things i'm thinking about:
-don't force/push/pull for the movement you're going for, but help the horse to feel like doing that movement; set him up in such a way that he is prepared and ready for the movement you wish for.
-if you're going to release the spring forward, you're going to have to have some energy cocked and coiled first.
-with reuben, we will treat his anxiety and nervousness as a muscle that needs to be worked; this resonates deeply with me and i look forward to seeing if i can help him through his battle as i'm fighting through my own. i hope that i can help him find quietness if i can demonstrate it well for him with my nearness to him.
