i'm sitting in our car in a kinko's parking lot in bellevue right now. i'm on some sort of outdoor wireless connection... matt is making some copies of stuff for his resume portfolio before we head up to bellingham/ferndale...
pray for my husband today if you think of it. we're heading up to bellingham because he is meeting witht he owners of Transition, a downhill mountain bike company that he is really interested in working for. it's a small company, the kind matt would love to find a way into. their motto is "rider owned, for life." the 2 co-owners are riders who started engineering their own designs and started transition from scratch. anyways, matt met them when he was working at the ReCycle shop downtown and they came in to market their design to the shop to sell. matt really loved their concepts, their philosophy about bikes, and what they had to say, so he's been interested in them ever since. today he's hoping to start building a relationship there and show them what he's also so passionate about: he's a talented engineer who really loves mountain biking. :)
matt's back from making copies, we're hitting the road! i'll write more from bellingham because i think i'm hanging out at a starbucks while matt goes and meets these guys... pray for my hubby!
